...because U are young...set an example...

Don't let anyone
look down on you
because you are young
but set an example
for the believers
in speech,
in conduct,
in love,
in faith and
in love.

1 Timothy 4:12

Like a fish...

A countryman between two lawyers
is like
a fish between two cats.

Benjamin Franklin

What does this mean?
Two lawyers fighting over man,
just like cats fight over a fish.
Both are greedy?

live for today,
hope for tomorrow.
The important thing is

What Thomas Jefferson said about spelling...

What Thomas Jefferson said to his daughter Martha...

" Take care that you never spell a word wrong.
Always before you write a word,
consider how it is spelled,
and, if you do not remember,
turn to a dictionary.
It produces great praise to a lady to speel well."

Who is Thomas Jefferson?
3rd President of the United States

Spelling

Understanding your child's learning style can help him/her master spelling.

Spelling can be difficult for some.  It requires time, patience and practice.  Lots of practice!!!
What works for one child may not work for another child.

There are 3 learning styles:
Visual
Auditory
Kinaesthics

Visual Learners
Visual means being able to see.  To this group of learners, they need to see the words.  They remember what was seen.  This makes them good spellers.

Auditory Learners
Auditory means to hear or listen.  To this group of learners learn by remembering what they have discussed.  They enjoy reading out alound and listening.

Kinaesthics Learners
This group of learners like to act things out.  They are physically oriented and gesture a lot.  They learn by manipulating and doing things.

Spelling can be a boring process and it requires a lot of effort from your child.  Make use of a variety of learning styles and materials to learn.  Have FUN learning.
