Lesson Tip 1

Always Study Phrases

Yes.  Always study phrases, not individual words.

Never study a single, individual word.  Native speakers do not learn English by having to remember single words.  Single words are meant for babies and toddlers.

Learning with phrases is faster.

Studies show that students who learn phrases also have much better grammar.

Lesson Tip 2

No Grammar Rules!

Yes!  You read correctly!  There are no grammar rules.  Grammar rules tell you to think about English.

Speaking and writing is not the same.  For oral English, we teach you English without grammar study.  Your speaking comes naturally and improve.  We want you to speak without thinking.  You speak English more naturally.  You succeed.  so put away those grammar books and text books.

Lesson Tip 4

Take it slow.

Slow and deep learning is best.

The secret to speaking English is to learn every word and phrase deeply.

What does this mean?
It is simply not enough to know a definition.
It is not enough to remember for a test or any test.
You must put the word deep into your brain.

Lesson Tip 5

Use stories.

Yes, use short stories.  You must learn grammar by listening to real English.

How do we do this?
First work in pairs as with your buddy.
Take turns.
One to say and one to listen.

By telling and listening to stories.  But using past, present and future tenses.
By listening to different points of view stories told in different times.
For example, past, present and future, your grammar will improve.

Listen to point of view stories and you will improve your grammar in no time.
