On...Apostrophes
Note:
Apostrophes are used to show possession.
For example, the possessive form of dog is dog's (as in the dog's teeth).
Therefore, somewhat understandably, many think that the possessive form of it should be it's. It seems to fit the pattern.
On...turn into
Writers should be wary of turn into, because it has two
meanings.
Example:
(Was the car transformed into a garage or did the car drive
into a garage?)
To avoid ambiguity, it is normal to write:
Turn in to to mean 'drive into', 'walk into, etc.
Turn into to mean 'transform into'.
Examples:
(Using into would not be wrong - you have a choice.)
On...etc and e.g.

DON'T USE ETC. AFTER E.G.
The examples you offer after using e.g. are usually samples from a more complete list. Therefore, it is often not appropriate to use etc. after e.g. since it is understood that you are only offering a partial list by way of example.

In the example below, the etc. is redundant:
Mark needs gloves to handle live fishing bait

In the example above:
the use of e.g. is correct
the use of etc. is wrong
