We are what we are

Are we what we are?
Are we who we are?
Are we the creator of our personal success?

I guess we can all agree that there is a universal character in each of us.  This universal helps to shape and set each of us in our personal direction.  The greater our self awareness, the more able we can and are able to use our individual character traits to achieve our full potential.  Why is this so?  This is simply because self-awareness breeds personal success.  Knowing is the first step.

Character is inborn.  We are what we are.  We are who we are.  We are the creator of our success.

Does this mean character is destiny?

The understanding of self is important.  It is an important component of our emotional intelligence.  Hence, the universal characteristic of each of us is made up of our own personality, strengths and weaknesses, potential and preferences.

Universal means nature.  Nature does not change.  Hence, a person's universal character does not change.  How then do we maximize and shape our potential, talents and capabilities?

Many would agree that a warm and loving environment, leading to health, academic, career and life excellence is the answer.  These are the most effective tools to secure personal success in life.

In other words, the building of character is important.  Knowing oneself is enabling one to build self-awareness and self-management in order to achieve one's full potential.  In addition to this, it is important to know others.  That is to be socially aware and to interact well with others to nurture positive relationships.
